James’s Bio

James McDaniel is the publisher of The Sherburne News, the community’s only newspaper, and owner of The Sherburne News LLC, a printing company in the village. James is a native of Sherburne. As a community leader donating time and services to worthy causes in the area, James has served as a Rotarian for two decades and as Rotary president; as a board member of the Chamber of Commerce; as a board member of Mid-York Conservation Fund (now Friends of Rogers); as trustee of St. Malachy’s Church; and as a planning board member for the village. His expertise is in business management, printing, publishing, and community service.
