Kathleen was born and raised in the Sherburne area and has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from SUNY Brockport. In the late 1970s she was city editor of a daily newspaper in northeast Arkansas, following which she spent 30 years in the New York metropolitan area as president of MSP International, Inc., a publishing and conference management company serving the pharmaceutical industry. Kathleen is a writer and editor and continues to produce medical and consumer newsletters through MSP, which was relocated to Sherburne in 2010. She is the author of several books, is an occasional columnist for area newspapers, and has had articles featured in The New York Times, Working Woman, Self Magazine, and Preservation Nation. Kathleen is currently vice president of The Sherburne Public Library board of directors and the chair of the annual Sherburne Arts Festival.
